The consenso Allstars also win the fifth edition of our Soccer Cup

Our eagerly awaited consenso Cup took place again last Friday - and it was a complete success!

Our teams competed against each other to determine the successor to our serial winners, the consenso Allstars, in a fair competition with impressive performances. The players gave their all in a great atmosphere and when the winner was announced at the end, it was once again: consenso Allstars. In the fifth edition, the team won its fourth title. Respect!

In addition to the sporting competition, there were also numerous opportunities for dialogue between the colleagues. The feedback was consistently positive and all participants had a lot of fun. We are already looking forward to the next edition!

Successful SAP S/4HANA transformation at Salzgitter AG

A hybrid approach of selective transformation was pursued and implemented to migrate the steel companies from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA. Thus, several ERP systems could be consolidated into a new, centralised SAP S/4HANA system in the steel division for the companies concerned. At the same time, a large number of partner systems communicating with the SAP system via interfaces were integrated into the new system environment using the latest interface technologies.

In September 2023, ERDINGER entrusted consenso with analysing its current business partner and material master data. The objective: to significantly increase their quality and identify potential for sustainable quality improvement.

On Friday, January 26, 2024, our on-site event on the topic "SAP Cloud Application Programming Model with SAP HANA Cloud" will take place at the Hotel Bielefelder Hof under the direction of SAP Developer Advocate DJ Adams.

Go-live of SAP S/4HANA conversion at SAGAFLOR

November 2022 marked the start of consenso's activities for the SAP S/4HANA conversion of SAGAFLOR with a focus on financials – starting with the implementation of consenso's readiness check incl. SAP S/4HANA custom code analysis. Thus, all essential information on the objectives and tasks of the migration to SAP S/4HANA was provided at a very early stage.

SAGAFLOR had opted for a brownfield approach, i.e. the extensive transfer of existing processes and functions from the Business Suite into the new S/4HANA world. Of course, there was still a need for changes and innovations.

A tiny project with a big impact

For many years, consenso has had the privilege of supporting Schönmackers in the implementation and further development of their SAP solutions – on both a small and a large scale.

This was most recently the case with a development regarding the "invoice form". The output of the invoices varies at Schönmackers depending on the customer requirements. Classic printing, sending by email with or without attachments (invoice and proof of services as PDF), XInvoice, storage on FTP servers – everything is possible. In future, all this will be controlled via message types and output media, and the invoices will also be stored on the D3 archive system.
