Group-wide introduction of SAP S/4HANA at AGRAVIS

Successful completion of the rollout in the Agricultural Machinery division

AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG is one of five main agricultural co-operatives and one of the largest agricultural trading companies in Germany. The company is headquartered in Münster.

AGRAVIS operates in the agricultural products, animal nutrition, crop production and agricultural technology segments. It also trades in energy and Raiffeisen markets, including building materials and project construction. AGRAVIS generates an annual turnover of around € 9.4 billion with its approx. 6,600 employees.

The DOCK programme developed by AGRAVIS has set itself the task of introducing SAP S/4HANA throughout the group to support the company's core merchandise management processes - with consenso as implementation partner.

A significant milestone has now been reached in this programme:

The rollout of the SAP solution in the Agricultural Machinery division has been successfully completed. The twelve technology companies are now working operationally with the SAP solution at 113 locations. Around 2,400 employees serve customers with a comprehensive product and service portfolio covering all aspects of agricultural machinery, in particular with a high-performance spare parts and workshop service.

Success factors in the rollout included the measures implemented in the project to ensure high master data quality and the concept for the transfer of knowledge and support in the hypercare phase by companies that had already been converted. For example, around 14 million spare parts are managed in the SAP solution and their content is validated using AI-supported methods as part of the consenso framework.

The solution used has been and is being further developed as part of the DOCK programme in parallel with the technology rollout, so that its use in other areas of the company is being driven forward.
