Sending invoices by paper or email with a standard PDF attachment is going into retirement.

The dates have been set. From 1 January 2025, companies must be able to receive e-invoices; larger companies must also send e-invoices from 1 January 2027 at the latest. From 1 January 2028, e-invoicing will be mandatory in the B2B sector. Invoices must comply with the EN-16931 standard. This standard is represented by formats such as xRechnung or ZUGFeRD.

SAP offers its customers a standardised solution for e-invoicing that not only fulfils all formal requirements, but also offers additional benefits in areas such as efficiency, acceptance and security thanks to data exchange via the European PEPPOL network - but alternatively still allows invoices to be received by email.

Start the year 2025 relaxed! We implement the ‘SAP Document & Reporting Compliance (Cloud Edition)’ on your SAP system.

Integration is possible with a conventional ECC system as well as with S/4HANA systems (on-prem, private or public cloud). Access is via Cloud Connector from the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). In addition to configuration in the ERP system (technical user, customising, AIF setup, roles & authorisations), we also take care of registration with PEPPOL for you.
